The Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG): What changes?
In preparation and off since 2021June 28, 2025Binding: The BFSG extends the previous BITV regulation, which primarily affected authorities, to many companies. Thanks to the European Accessibility Act (EAA), B2C (Business to Consumer) companies now also have to make their websites barrier-free. Small businesses with fewer than 10 employees and a turnover of less than €2 million are exempt, while B2B (business to business) companies are currently not affected - but changes could be coming.
